Buk Wildlife Services is run by Dr Kenneth Buk. He developed a passion for biodiversity and conservation early in life growing up close to a small protected forest and wetland.

Kenneth completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Biology at University of Copenhagen in Denmark with exchange studies in USA at University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) and in Costa Rica at the UC Monteverde Field Station in Costa Rica. At the College of African Wildlife Management in Tanzania he obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma. Kenneth completed his Doctors degree in Nature Conservation at Tshwane University in Pretoria, South Africa.

Among the animals Kenneth has worked with are European toad, crested grebe, the bats of Monteverde, savanna elephant, African wild dog, black rhino, cheetah and black-footed cat.

Kenneth collaborates closely with other professionals in the relevant fields to ensure the highest quality of work. These include Vincent van der Merwe of the Metapopulation Initiative, Rudi WiIliams of i4 Wildlife and Jo Shaw of WWF.
